Master Configuration
The Master Configuration menu, which you can find in its main menu “Rates”, is subdivided into 3 areas: Rooms, Rate Plans and Rates.
This division is related to the way you want to do your automatic rate derivation, that is, if you will take into account a room and all the others will be connected to that master room; if you have a master rate plan and all the others are derived from that one or by rates, in which a rate is the base and all the others are dependent on that one.
Rooms
In rooms, if you want to manage prices by having a master room, you must associate the master room.
Once you select it, the other rooms will be presented and you must put, per person to which person the master room will derive, and the value. This value can be in percentage or value or added, equal or decreased to the value entered.
Once you are done making changes, you should save changes.
Rate Plans
In this area you will be presented with all the rate plans, without any derivation.
If you wish to have a base rate plan and another to be derived, or that all derive from that base, you must define in the rate plan that will be derived the option “Automatically (basing this rate on an existing rate plan).
When you select this option you will notice that new fields appear. In them you must select the base rate plan, the one that will be the master, followed by the option of increase or decrease, the value and whether it will be percentage or value.
Once you have finished editing (which you can do in other rate plans) you should save your changes.
Rates
In rates, you have access to your price tables. You can access this area to change prices if you wish to define a price table as a master.
To define a master rate table (or several), you must first access the main menu Rates ” rates and in the options column, select the pencil. Here you should select ” Is master rate”.
After this selection, save the change made and go back to the menu “Master Configurations” and edit the price table that will be derived, in the column “Rooms”.
