Channel Manager Glossary

Allotment– Term used to refer to the quantity of rooms that are available for sale

Room Equivalency – Term used to identify the correspondence between a given room in a channel and e-GDS room

Closed for check in (CTA) – Possibility to select a date or period when it is not possible for the customer to check in

Rates– Term used to refer to rates

Rate Plan– Term used to create the sales conditions

Rate Template – Term used to refer to price tables

Release– Time period agreed between the hotel and a certain channel to release the contracted rooms
