Payment Tokenization

e-GDS provides the Token&Pay service to directly charge the reservations that integrate e-GDS B2C DP, define values to be charged, in whole or in part, and even customize the message to be sent to the customer, without ever seeing the guest’s credit card data since this whole process is guaranteed by card tokenization.

In addition to improving your services, you can ensure payment security and protect your customers’ data. In the tokenization process, credit card data is replaced by a digital token unique to a given online transaction, protecting consumers’ confidential information and hotels’ operation, right from the e-GDS backoffice.

Enabled Functionalities:

• Transaction list;
• Capture a payment;
• Authorize a payment;
• Partial or total refund of a transaction;
• Cancellation of an authorization;
• Logs of the operations carried out (Logs ” Users).

To make a charge using Token&Pay you must enter the reservation in question and for security reasons you must enter your user and password to proceed to the charge.

The next step is to choose which option you want: Create token or View transactions.

When creating the token you can define the amount you want to charge and also define what type of transaction you want to perform: Payment capture or payment authorization.
